We have 13,000 members - working as company employees, consultants or self-employed persons. We also organise students studying in the field of computer science.

Our members work in the area of IT systems development and IT systems operations, with many different titles such as:

In the operations area these titles include: 

• Systems Programmer
• Systems Administrator
• Operations Planner
• Operator

PROSA has an inclusive view with respect to the definition of IT professionals. For us IT also includes people working with IT training, pre-sales, support and IT staff functions.

In order to avoid a conflict of interests, we do not admit managers as members if they have a direct right to hire and fire other IT professionals.
