GitOps from Local Development to Production

This workshop teaches how modern cloud-native deployment pipelines are built using GitOps principles and practical automation workflows. Participants learn how to move applications from local development to automated deployments using containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes workflows.

Developers, DevOps engineers, platform engineers, infrastructure engineers, and technical professionals working with cloud-native applications and deployment pipelines.

● Introduction to GitOps principles and workflows
● Building a simple CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions
● Containerizing applications with Docker
● Building and publishing container images
● Deploying applications to Kubernetes
● Automated deployment and synchronization workflows
● Rollback and recovery strategies
● Basic troubleshooting of deployment failures

Hands-on
Participants build a complete deployment flow from local development to Kubernetes using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes. Throughout the workshop they deploy applications, introduce changes, and perform rollback and recovery scenarios in a cloud-native environment.
