Governance and Statutes
PROSA's statutes set out the rules that govern the organisation and how it operates. In other words, they define the framework for how PROSA is run.
Only PROSA's Delegate Congress has the authority to adopt amendments to the statutes.
PROSA's Action Plan 2025 to 2026
PROSA's Action Plan outlines the priorities and initiatives that members have decided the organisation should focus on during 2025 to 2026. The Action Plan was adopted at PROSA's Delegate Congress in November 2024.

How PROSA is organised
Delegate Congress
The Delegate Congress is PROSA's highest decision making body. It sets the overall direction for the organisation and decides how PROSA should carry out its work.
The Delegate Congress elects PROSA's President, Vice Presidents, and General Secretaries. It also adopts the organisation's statutes and Action Plan.
The Delegate Congress is held every second year, in even numbered years, over a weekend in November.
Executive Board
The Executive Board is PROSA's highest governing body between Delegate Congresses.
It coordinates the work of the local branches, ensures that the decisions made by the Delegate Congress are implemented, and may also initiate matters on its own.
The Executive Board meets eight to ten times each year, with meetings normally held at weekends.
Local branches
As a PROSA member, you belong to the local branch connected to your workplace.
Each local branch is led by an elected branch board, chosen at the annual general meeting.
PROSA's local branches play an important role in the organisation's democratic decision making.
Committees
PROSA has a number of committees established by the Executive Board or the Delegate Congress to develop and support the organisation's policies.
PROSAs historie
PROSA's history
PROSA celebrated its 50th anniversary on 15 February 2017. To mark the occasion, we published the anniversary book PROSAAVISEN.
It tells the story of PROSA's journey from the first attempts to establish a professional association for IT professionals to the organisation we are today, representing thousands of members across Denmark.
