Membership fees
Monthly membership fees effective from 1 January 2026. Membership fees are adjusted annually in line with inflation. We automatically report your membership fees to the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT), allowing you to receive the tax deduction available under Danish tax law.
Legal advice and qualifying period
PROSA's legal team can assist you once your first membership payment has been registered.
If a case requires legal proceedings, PROSA cannot represent you if the issue arose before you joined or during the first three months of your paid membership.
Most member cases are resolved without going to court.

*When you complete your studies, your membership fee is automatically reduced to DKK 143 per month for the first three months.
You don't need to do anything. You'll receive an email when the reduced membership fee takes effect.
To keep the reduced rate, you must remain registered as unemployed in your member profile during those three months, even if you have already started a job. After that, your membership status will automatically be updated to reflect your current situation.
If you begin a new course of study, simply update your details in your PROSA member profile. If you've already received an invoice, it will automatically be cancelled.

Full time unemployment insurance applies if you work 30 hours or more per week.
Part time unemployment insurance applies if you work less than 30 hours per week.
Recent IT graduates receive a reduced rate for the first three months.
If you're a member of Min A-kasse, your reduced fee is applied automatically when your unemployment is registered. If you're not a member of Min A-kasse, you'll need to submit a declaration of unemployment, which must be renewed every six months.

You must continue paying your unemployment fund membership fee to receive early retirement benefits.

Have you left the labour market?
If you're no longer active in the labour market and don't expect to return, you can switch to a retired membership.
Membership fee: DKK 41 per month
As a retired member, you'll continue to receive Prosabladet and can take part in PROSA events. However, you won't have voting rights or be eligible to stand for elected positions within PROSA.

Passive membership
Passive membership is available to members who no longer work within PROSA's membership area.
