Asynchronous Programming (Session 3 of 4)

Session 3 – Async/Await and Asynchronous Control Flow

Session 3 – Async/Await and Asynchronous Control Flow

In this session 3, we move from explicit task coordination to the modern async/await programming model. We begin with task continuations and then see how async
and await provide a more readable way of expressing asynchronous workflows.

Finally, we look beneath the language syntax and examine the async state machine
generated by the compiler, giving us a deeper understanding of how asynchronous methods actually execute.
