Ansible Project Based Training (Beginner–Intermediate Level)

Strengthen Your IaC Skills with production-grade projects

In this training session, we explore Ansible not just as an IaC tool, but as a DevOps enabler through a project-based perspective.

Instead of theoretical modules, this workshop focuses on real-world, production use cases you are likely to encounter in the IT environments.

Participants will work through mini-projects that integrate Ansible with Docker, Kubernetes, and other modern infrastructure components.

By the end of the session, attendees will have hands-on experience with applying Ansible in real DevOps workflows.

Here's what you'll learn

  • Integrate Ansible with Docker to automate containerized service deployments
  • Use Ansible with Kubernetes for basic cluster automation (e.g. deploying a pod)
  • Install and manage Helm on Minikube with Ansible
  • Automating Kubernetes Control Plane setup with Ansible roles
  • Managing Ansible playbooks from CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Understanding production-grade workflows for scalable and maintainable Ansible automation
  • What are the best practices to implement Ansible at the production environment Level: Beginner/Regular/Mid

Part of the projects are done in the workshop manner, while two of them are demonstrated (due to environment setup complexities).

Extra info: This session extends the programme from Ansible MasterClass, but is a separate class that is not contingent on earlier participation in Ansible Project-Based Training.

Audience: DevOps Engineers, IT beginners, Cloud Engineers, Linux Administrators, Sysadmins, Cloud Engineers

Instructor: The training is conducted by Szymon Izydorek - an instructor in DevOps, Linux, and Cloud Engineering. He founded 'BecomeDevOps,' a company dedicated to helping aspiring engineers enter the IT industry.
Simon regularly shares his expertise through free-towatch content on online platforms and conferences (DevOpsDays Aarhus or Linux Session), covering topics such as Ansible, Linux, certifications, and DevOps.
