Employee Influence in the Game Development Industry

Get real influence in game development: Board representation, alternatives, and organising - in-person meetup + livestream (not recorded).

How do you get real influence at work in game development - especially in studios without a collective agreement, and in companies where the structure is not set up for employee representation?

In this event, you will get a clear overview of the rules in Denmark on elected worker representatives on the company board, as well as the most important alternatives for building employee influence in practice.

Target group:
The event is for people working in game development - in larger studios as well as startups and scaleups - and for anyone who wants to understand their options for influence, collaboration, and collective organising at work.

Hybrid event in English
The event will take place in person at HK and will also be streamed live, so you can join from anywhere in Denmark. The stream will be online, but the event will not be recorded.
The presentation and discussion will be in English.

Outcome
You will get practical insight into:

  • How employee board representation works under Danish company law
  • When the right to employee-elected board members applies - and how the process works
  • What it actually means to be an employee board rep, including responsibilities, confidentiality, and common pitfalls to be aware of
  • Other ways to strengthen employee influence at work, such as workplace groups, communities, and cooperation structures

Room for questions and discussion throughout, where participants’ own experiences can be brought into the conversation
